The project has hired the services of a consortium led by SOFRECO (based out at Paris, France – a leading international consulting firm) and JPS Associates Private Limited (one of the oldest Indian Consulting firm) through international bidding as Project Management Consultants (PMC) having 4 International and National experts.

A technical group, consisting of International and National level specialists on Sustainable Forest Ecosystems Management, Biodiversity Conservation, Livelihoods Improvement Support & Institutional Capacity Strengthening, Development of Marketing of NTFP & Non-NTFP sector products, Ecotourism, GIS/MIS will assist PMU, DMU, FTU & all the Stakeholders of the Project in technical aspects and for developing innovative ideas and concepts for effective implementation of the Project. The objective of the Consulting Services is to assist the Project Management Unit of the Project established at Society for Improvement of Forest Ecosystems Management and Livelihoods in H.P. in implementation of the Project activities by providing the following services:-.
